As of late April 2026, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the NEET UG 2026 Admit Cards on April 26 for the exam scheduled on May 3, 2026. Over 22 lakh candidates are registered, and in a major update, the exam pattern has reverted to pre-COVID rules (180 questions, no optional sections). Exam Date: May 3, 2026, from 2:00 P.M. to 5:20 P.M. Key Preparation Requirement: Students are advised to update their Aadhaar card details (name, DOB) to match their 10th-grade certificate, as Aadhaar-based eKYC is mandatory. Barred Items: Heavy clothing, long sleeves, and electronic devices are prohibited inside the exam hall. Admit Card Released: The NTA has officially released the NEET UG 2026 Admit Card on the official website neet.nta.nic.in. The exam is confirmed for May 3, 2026. City Intimation Slips: Candidates can download their City Intimation Slip to check their assigned exam center, which was released in mid-April. Exam Pattern Change: There are no optional questions in 2026. Students must attempt all 180 questions within 180 minutes. Safety Warning: The NTA has advised students to check their official X (formerly Twitter) for a "mental health advisory" and warned against fraudulent "paper leak" Telegram groups. Live Photo Requirement: New rules for 2026 include a live photo capture during the registration process to prevent impersonation.
